By using Isabel Products, you automatically agree with the way Isabel SA/NV gathers and processes your personal data, as described below.

Which types of personal data are processed by Isabel SA/NV?

The personal data processed by Isabel have either been directly obtained from you, or have been obtained via the parties whom Isabel has a contractual relationship with to deliver services within the framework of Isabel Products.

Your personal data will typically relate to your professional contact data, such as your name, the name of your employer, the address of your company and your email address. These types of data are required for a good service delivery within the framework of Isabel Products.

Isabel SA/NV also processes personal data that are technically required to make use of Isabel Products. These data can, inter alia, relate to login data (logfiles), past transactions (audit trail), website visits (cookies) and digital signatures used (certificates).

Why does Isabel process your personal data?

Isabel SA/NV processes your personal data in order to successfully deliver the services you requested. These services enable you to, for example, carry out financial transactions in a secure way, consult invoices electronically, and apply electronic signatures to documents.

Isabel SA/NV also processes your personal data in the context of typical customer administration, such as the creation of invoices and the follow-up of payments.

Isabel SA/NV also uses your contact data to keep you informed from time to time about new, similar services and products offered by Isabel SA/NV. If you no longer wish to receive such communication in the future, you can always unsubscribe in a simple way via the unsubscribe facilities, as referred to in each electronic communication.

How long does Isabel SA/NV store your personal data?

Isabel SA/NV only stores your personal data for such duration as required for a successful service delivery.

Legal data retention requirements can, however, call for a longer storage period. Isabel SA/NV will destroy or anonymise your personal data when the legally required retention period has expired.

Does Isabel SA/NV share your personal data with third parties?

Isabel SA/NV does not transfer your personal data to third parties, unless such is necessary for the correct operation of Isabel Products. To ensure the correct operation of Isabel Products, Isabel SA/NV can, for example, share your personal data with your bank. Isabel SA/NV can also involve a third party to carry out processing for Isabel SA/NV under strict contractual conditions.

Isabel SA/NV can also be obliged to hand over your personal data on the request of a Belgian public authority or by an order of a Belgian court or other judicial authority.

Can you consult, modify or even delete your personal data?

You always have the right to be informed about your personal data being held by Isabel SA/NV. You also have the right to have your personal data deleted if they are no longer relevant or to correct them if they are no longer accurate.

To effectively enforce these rights, please contact the person responsible for the protection of privacy by sending an email to privacy@isabel.eu, or by sending a dated and signed request to Isabel SA/NV, Keizerinlaan, 13-15, 1000 Brussels, Belgium. Isabel SA/NV will reply to your request within the legally specified term.

Are your personal data stored in a secure way?

Isabel SA/NV will take all technical and organisational measures necessary to protect your personal data against abuse, destruction, loss or any other action which may compromise the secure storage of your personal data.

For these purposes, Isabel SA/NV employs strict and extensive security checks to avoid unauthorized access to and abuse of your personal data.

Which law applies to this privacy policy?

Except in case of contrary provisions of imperative law, Belgian law applies to this privacy policy. In case of a dispute, only the courts of Brussels will be competent.

Can this privacy policy be changed?

Isabel SA/NV reserves the right to change this privacy policy at any time, but will in any case do so in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations.
