View electronic invoices by means of the Isabel eInvoice viewer

Would you like to see which fields an electronic invoice contains and how a BMF file appears on your PC? Then download and install the Isabel eInvoice Viewer. This application allows you to discover and test the capabilities of our solution by means of fictive electronic invoices.

Saving BMF Files

  • First create an eInvoice directory on your hard disk for installing the viewer and for saving examples of electronic invoices (BMF files).
  • Click on bmf.zip, tick Open This File From Its Current Location, then click on OK. When you are asked to agree with the WinZip user licence conditions, answer I Agree. If this is not the case, proceed as described here under.
  • In the following window, click on Select All in the Actions Menu. Then click on Extract in the navigation bar and select the option of putting everything into the aforementioned directory.
  • Close the bmf.zip file.

Installing the Viewer

  • Click on setup.exe in order to download the Isabel eInvoice Viewer (1.394MB). Tick Open This File From Its Current Location, then double-click on OK. When you are asked to agree with the WinZip user licence conditions, answer I Agree. If this is not the case, proceed as described here under.
  • In the following window, click on Select All in the Actions Menu.
  • Then click on Extract in the navigation bar and select the option of putting everything into the aforementioned directory.
  • Close the viewer.zip file.

Opening BMF Files By Means Of The Viewer

  • Go into the eInvoice directory on your hard disk and double-click on inv_view.exe.
  • In the window that opens, make sure under Directories that you are in the eInvoice directory. If need be, select the right directory on your hard disk.
  • The various BMF files that you have saved in this directory automatically appear in the left-hand File Name field.
  • Select one of them by clicking on it and answer OK.
  • A Status File ***.bmf window opens. Click on Show and discover in detail what an electronic invoice in Isabel eInvoice looks like.
