Technical requirements

Minimum requirements for installing just Isabel eInvoice on your PC

The exclusive installation of Isabel eInvoice can only occur on a PC in which Isabel 4.x or a complete version of the Isabel Business Suite has not been installed.

Your PC must meet the following minimum configuration for you to be able to install the electronic invoicing module:

  • a Pentium processor;
  • 16 MB RAM of memory;
  • a minimum of 110 MB must be available on the hard disk. This does not include Internet Explorer 5.5 (or higher);
  • Windows 98, Millennium, XP, NT Workstation (4.0 or higher) or 2000 Professional must be installed. A Windows license is mandatory for installing Isabel. For Windows NT, the minimum 5 High Encryption or 6a Service Pack is indispensable.
  • the original installation files (win*.cab) are needed for installation under Windows 98 (if TCP/IP has not been configured).
  • Internet Explorer 5.5 (128 bit encoding) or a higher version;
  • a serial port or a USB port must be free for the Chip Card reader, or else an extension slot must be free on the mother board so that a com-port can be installed;
  • you must have a modem with a speed of at least 14400 bps (bits per second), connected to the telephone network;
  • it must have a CD-ROM reader;
  • a printer is required for the certification procedure.

For ISDN you need:

  • an ISDN subscription and connection;
  • ISDN hardware, whether this is an internal card or an ISDN Terminal Adapter.
  • The ISDN hardware must be configurable in the External access module (Dial-Up Networking) of Windows, via MS Accelerator Pack or via your own hardware drivers.
